To celebrate the International Women’s day, BOP launched a Women’s Entrepreneur Finance Scheme (WEFS) a one of its kind financing scheme. Under this scheme an amount of RS. 2 billion has been allocated to assist women to launch or expand their business across Punjab. In Order to familiarise and project the merits of this scheme BOP had established a stall at Women’s day function organised by the Government of Punjab at Al Hamra Cultural Complex, Qaddafi Stadium Lahore. The stall attracted a large number of women attending the program and took keen interest in the scheme.
The CM Punjab also visited the BOP stall and appreciated the initiative and lauded BOP for their support in empowering women through this uniquely designed finance scheme.
The scheme provides working capital for businesses related to day care unit, personal care & grooming, eateries, fitness & fashion, vocational institutes, educational & teaching institutes, catering & event management and furniture & other projects.
All eligible women aging between 30 to 55 years with proper documentation and a minimum 3 years experience in relevant field can apply for the loan.
